Participants learn general information about mental health disorders, including how to identify symptoms and/or behaviors that may be present in the classroom. The new Suicide Prevention relicensure requirement, which is embedded in this seminar, will look at identifying possible early signs of suicide and will provide tools that may be helpful to students. Seminar participants connect their understanding to educational implications, classroom accommodations, effective instructional strategies to implement, and resources that are available to teachers. * Cost is $50.00 per seminar.
